Who cannot give you a Letter of Recommendation?

Today at the Forum I got a question to me: “Hi Andrii, Please can you help explain what this below mean with respect to the letter of recommendation requirements for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa.

“Letters from individuals within service-based organisations (i.e. consultants, agencies, outsourcers, service/process delivery) are generally not considered appropriate”

Thank you.”

Purpose of Entry – Stage 2

Hi, I got my endorsement today and I have started filling my application form on the Home Office website. I, however, got stuck on this question: “Information about your application”. I am expected to choose “For Work or Business” as the option but since I don’t have a job yet and no employer yet, what do I write there?

Key Criteria 1 – Innovation by you as a member of team

“For Key Criteria 1 of Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa – if you have worked as an employee of an MNC and have done innovation and the product is in the market but in the company name and you have worked as part of the team will it work?”

Is any bias in the Review of non-Endorsement?

Question: “My endorsement for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa was denied this week and I have requested for a review. Do you think the review will succeed, knowing that same competent body Tech Nation will do the review? Thanks, Johnson”

BRP Collection and Freedom of Move

“Hi, my question is related to step 31. When we got the Endorsement letter for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa and applied for Visa Stage, we have to go to the UK in a specific duration of time.
In my case, I want to go to the UK when I will have job interviews. I want to go in a permanent way when I’ll start my job there. Is it possible (1) to go to the UK, (2) get the BRP, (3) come back to my native country, (4) prepare for the transfer with family and (5) get hired in the UK, (6) come back to live permanently? This process will probably take a couple of months.
Thanks for your reply.”

5 reasons why you must apply for non-Endorsement review

Today I got a question from Chris about non-Endorsement for Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa. All we know about the Review process which is clearly explained in the updated Home Office Guidelines. But, as you see, the question is slightly not about the legal stuff but about life.

Thanks from Shwetank

Dear Andrii,

Hope you are well. I wanted to share with you that I had applied for the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent application with Tech Nation in the early week of September and this week I got the endorsement. I didn’t go through any agency but help from you and some others was instrumental in putting together my statement of purpose and application together.

Thank you so much for your help and guidance. Looking forward to catching up sometime in person.

Regards,
Shwetank

12 types of supporting documents to attach

One of the most popular questions about Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa is about supporting documents.  Definitely, this is not about the number – everyone knows: an applicant has the right to apply up to ten documents. Mainly, questions are about the format, number of pages, content, etc.
